A huge congratulations to our Practice Manager Julie Stott who recently completed a challenging Internal Audit course.

Julie has officially passed the CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Course with SEQM training.

Completing the course means that Julie is now qualified to carry out internal audits for ALA. This will ensure that we are compliant with our obligations under ISO9001 and well prepared for our regular external audits.

Commenting on the achievement, Managing Director Tom Lamb said:

Well done Julie! I know that you worked incredibly hard to achieve this certificate and you should be proud that you were more than up to the challenge.

You have taken on a more active role in our Quality and Internal Management Systems in recent years as well as making valuable contributions to our external audits.

Your keen audit eye will be invaluable in driving continuous improvement within the business and ensuring we are on top of all of our quality measures.

Our 5 year plan (ALA25) sets goals to improve each area of the business with a focus on developing talent as we grow. One of the ALA25 goals is to upskill all staff, and this includes non-fee earning staff too. Another ALA25 goals is to improve our services and products. Continuous improvement of our quality and management systems is a key part of that process.

At ALA we are creating sustainable and managed growth, whilst retaining the quality and values that we are known for.
