Hit them for six! Adjudication Winning Streak Continues

Associate Director Nigel Jackson celebrated a fantastic achievement last week; six adjudication wins in a row.

His latest victories came in the form of two adjudication wins on behalf of a specialist steelwork contractor in similar but separate disputes. As a result of Nigel’s hard work, the client received two positive decisions in excess of £800,000 in total.

To celebrate the success, Nigel was gifted a wine hamper from Fortnum and Mason containing six bottles – one for each win.

Even more impressively, Nigel has been able to maintain his adjudication winning streak whilst studying for a Masters degree in Construction Law and gaining membership of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

Ever humble, Nigel has been quick to recognise the efforts of the wider team in supporting him, saying:

It has been really satisfying to achieve these results for our clients, going after what they were owed. Adjudication can occasionally result in rough justice but in each dispute we were on the right side of the argument, and the decisions were fair. These results were a team effort, with input from Tom Lamb for the legal issues, and Dan Harrison providing first-rate support for our quantum submissions.

Commentating on the hot streak, Managing Director Tom Lamb said:

These successes are a testament to Nigel’s hard work and ability. His work ethic and attention to detail are exemplary and the wine is hard-earned and thoroughly deserved. Nigel is going from strength to strength and it is great to see. I look forward to seeing what will be next!
