We are delighted to announce that ALA Commercial Director Byron Tyson has been elected onto the CICES Council of Management.

This is the most senior of all the CICES committees. See CICES News article.

The CICES Council of Management determines the overall direction and policy of the institution. It is composed of the president, vice presidents and 15 members, all of whom are directors and trustees of CICES. The council is responsible for the administration of the institution’s core committees and panels.

Our 5 year plan- ALA25 sets goals to improve each area of the business with a focus on training and development.

The aim is to create sustainable and managed growth without compromising on the quality or values that ALA is known for.

Byron says:

It is a real privilege to be elected to this prestigious position alongside a number of industry leaders.

I believe in the CICES values and believe I can contribute positively to CICES objectives and ambitions.

ALA is a keen supporter of the CICES and encouraging staff to apply for membership is part of our ALA25 business plan. We believe strongly in learning and development and attaining professional memberships like MCInstCES is a key part of that strategy.
