The August edition of local magazine ‘In Cumbria’ included a three page spread on ALA’s recent growth. You can read the feature on page 70 of the magazine, which can be accessed here: In Cumbria – August Edition

The article was prompted by our recent acquisition of Morham + Brotchie Partnership. As well as that acquisition, the article also focuses on our expertise working on cross country pipeline projects and our plans for future growth.

 

The Inside Story

Earlier this Summer, Commercial Director Byron Tyson sat down with local journalist Giles Brown to discuss our recent work and future plans.

Byron says:

As a proud Cumbrian (and proud quantity surveyor!) I am delighted to feature in this magazine. Our business has offices in Warrington, London and Edinburgh and we work on projects all over the world, but we are a Cumbrian business at heart.

Talking with a journalist was a bit of a new experience for me but one that I really enjoyed. Giles asked interesting questions and our conversation flowed naturally. It is probably no surprise that from our wide-ranging chat, it was our work on cross-country pipelines that became the focus of the article. This work is very important to us and a core part of our business. We’ve actually only just returned from the IPLOCA convention in Vancouver – meeting pipeline professionals from around the world.
