A very warm welcome to the latest addition to ALA’s Warrington office, Senior Planner John Evans.

John has varied experience, including five years working for Kier on major UK infrastructure projects, a year at Black and Veatch and five years as a mechanical engineer. He also spent five years working in the subsea oil and gas industry for a division of Schlumberger, the world largest offshore drilling contractor undertaking and managing complex oil field management planning for wellheads, controls, tooling and subsea trees.

He holds a BSc degree in Civil Engineering and completed an Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.

John will provide Senior Project Planning services to ALA clients whilst also offering forensic delay analysis support to our claims teams. He will also act as mentor to recent ALA recruit, Trainee Planner Hamza Khan.

Commercial Director Byron Tyson says:

I am really excited to have John joining the team. We have been looking to add more planning resource to the team to complement our talented team of commercial staff. John’s oil industry and infrastructure background, experience and skillset make him a perfect fit.

He is a civil and mechanical engineer first and a planner second. This makes him an ideal fit for our work, both in project planning and forensic planning.
