ALA Quantity Surveyor, Ryan Grey, has recently completed a Masters in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management at Liverpool John Moore’s University, achieving a Distinction for his hard work and endeavors.
The course was completed across 2 years on a part time basis, split across 7 modules and a dissertation. Modules included: ‘Sustainable Procurement’, ‘Construction Contract Strategy’, ‘Quantity Surveying Professional Skills’ and ‘Financial Management’.
For Ryan’s dissertation, he chose to research “The impact of BIM (Building Information Modelling) on the role of a Quantity Surveyor within the Construction Industry”, achieving 80% for his research thesis. Whilst this is a well-researched topic, Ryan updated the narrative considering topical matters such as Brexit and other new government legislation present at the time of conducting the research.
After achieving his MSc, Ryan now aims to begin his chartership to continue his career progression.
“We are delighted for Ryan achieving a Distinction for his MSc which is a real testament to his commitment, skills and hard work.
Ryan works tirelessly on behalf of ALA and our clients to deliver commercial services, build relationships, support clients and develop the business. This is an important milestone in Ryans career progression and we look forward to working closely with Ryan to develop his career further and take it to the next level.
