Alex Burton

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Alex is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor enrolled on our degree apprenticeship scheme. Since joining ALA in February 2022, he worked on a £8.5m prime refurbishment and extension of a Georgian mansion overlooking Lake Windermere on behalf of a regional contractor. The works involved an infinity pool and spa complex, together with restoration of period features and high end finishes.

Alex has provided assistance to the ALA senior team on various projects and commissions. Alexs most recent commission is a site based role commercially supporting  specialist contractor on a major project in central London.

Prior to joining ALA, Alex completed his first year in an accelerated full time Degree in Quantity Surveying at Salford University. He is now enrolled at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), studying his Degree in Quantity Surveying part time alongside his Assistant QS role.

Alex has proven himself to be a quick learner, a hard worker and a positive and proactive team member. Alex always gives his best to every task.
