Daniel Harrison
Associate Director
Dan joined ALA in 2018 and became an Associate Director in 2021. He is based at our Head Office in Cumbria.
Dan acts as a Commercial Consultant, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantum Expert. He has a first-class degree in Quantity Surveying and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES). He is currently undertaking the RICS Expert Witness qualification.
Dan has been involved with claims on large scale engineering and construction projects, including an energy from waste plant, a water treatment facility and a luxury high-rise residential development in London. He also has experience working on two significant UK water pipelines, and advising on a complex M&E project in the defence sector.
His recent expert witness appointments include providing quantum reports on a series of disputes relating to cladding on a London skyscraper and a luxury apartment refurbishment in Knightsbridge.
Dan is diligent, hard-working and rigorous, with a keen eye for detail and a track record of success.
Outside work, Dan is an avid music and football fan. If he isn’t at a gig, he is probably at Anfield.
