I joined ALA in 2021 as an Associate Director and I’m based at the ALA office at Warrington.
I initially joined ALA in 2009 and worked with the company on a wide range of projects and disputes until 2015. I then joined a major utility and infrastructure contractor and more recently provided commercial and contractual services on a consultancy basis for clients within the utility, civil engineering and infrastructure sector.
I have over 25 years experience as a quantity surveyor / commercial manager and I have worked on a wide variety of projects and contracts. In the last decade my career has been particularly focused on the infrastructure and utilities sector. This has predominantly involved commercially administering and managing the NEC form of contract.
I have experience of successfully managing and leading commercial teams for major projects in both the UK and Australia. I have a BSc in Quantity Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University.
I am from Stretford, Manchester and take an active role in a number of local community projects/events such as the renovation of the grade II listed building Stretford Public Hall which is now in community control and have organised music events locally for the Friends of Victoria Park. My interests include wild swimming, cycling walking, football and playing / listening to music.
