Kurt Hodgson
Commercial Manager
Kurt is a Commercial Manager at ALA, based out of our Cumbria office.
Since joining the team in 2020 he has primarily worked on major civils projects in Cumbria.
Over the course of his 20 years commercial career, Kurt has been involved in a real variety of projects. His experience ranges from a £70m nuclear framework at Sellafield to working with local councils on school and hospital refurbishment projects. He has also been involved with complex civil engineering projects including wastewater treatment works, flood and coastal defence projects and piled groundworks. He has particular experience with the NEC form of contract.
Kurt holds a degree in Quantity Surveying and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES).
Kurt is a hardworking and skilled Commercial Manager with the ability to effectively manage and commercially lead large scale infrastructure projects.
In his spare time, Kurt has been actively involved in motorcross racing for a long time, although in his advancing years he is making the switch to rally driving.
