Sam Leach
Commercial Manager
Sam is a highly experienced Commercial Manager with over 25 years’ experience in the Civil Engineering and Utilities sectors.
He has substantial experience working for small to medium sized contractors on NEC suite of contracts, as well as more recent experience working for the Employer in the nuclear sector.
Prior to joining ALA Sam spent 10 years at Network Plus and 7 years at Cheetham Hill. Since joining ALA in 2019 Sam has worked on client side procurement and commercial management of a major framework secured by ALA in the nuclear sector, in Cumbria.
He is well versed in all aspects of Commercial Management, including having estimating experience, and is comfortable working alone or as part of a team. He is used to taking on high levels of personal responsibility, advising other team members (and clients) on key project issues and working independently with confidence.
His experience includes commercial management of concurrent NEC3 framework projects, with a combined value of over £31m.
Sam is a down to earth and pragmatic Commercial Manager who quickly makes himself indispensable to any team he works with.
