Tom Lamb

Managing Director

Tom is Managing Director of ALA. He is based out of our London office. 

Tom joined ALA in 2014 and became Managing Director in 2017. 

Prior to joining ALA, Tom trained at as a solicitor at London law firm Fladgate LLP. Tom’s legal qualifications and large law firm experience inform his technical, legal and commercial analysis of complex contractual provisions.  

This experience continues to shape Tom’s management of ALA, particularly the focus on market-leading customer service.  

Tom is currently studying for a management qualification which will allow him to join the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).   

His disputes experience includes work on a major gas pipeline in Oman, a delay claim on a water treatment works in Russia and advising on disputed compensation events on a major water pipeline in the UK.  

Tom also provides pre-contract commercial risk reviews to clients and has particular experience advising on amendments to NEC4 framework agreements in the gas and utilities sectors.  

In his spare time Tom enjoys trail running in the Surrey Hills.
