Zac Oliver
Assistant Planner/ Quantity Surveyor
Zac is dual skilled with planning and quantity surveying experience.
Zac joins us from Australia, as an Assistant Planner/ Quantity Surveyor, with 3 years’ experience in the construction industry. He also holds a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne and is a member of the Institute of Civil Engineers.
Zac has grown his experience predominately in the Oil & Gas & Civil sectors, working for a tier two Australian contractor on cross-country pipelines as a Site Engineer, and as part of bid teams for wind farms and other large civil projects. A key project in his career so far is the 600km National Goldfields Interconnect (NGI) Pipeline in Western Australia, a project that ALA became involved with during the claims period.
Through his various roles in both execution and tendering phases, Zac has developed an acute awareness of the commercial implications that engineering, and project management decisions can have through the project life cycle.
Outside of work Zac enjoys exercising and playing the guitar.
