We are delighted to welcome David Brotherhood to A. Lamb Associates as a Quantity Surveyor based in our Manchester office.
David holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Biology and is RICS certified. He began his career in civils and utilities, working on numerous projects across the North West, including trenching, drainage, and AMP frameworks. Over the years, David has gained extensive experience with NEC contracts, covering a wide range of responsibilities such as:
- Submitting AFPs and pricing compensation events
- Cost tracking and procurement coordination
- Supporting payment applications, RAMS, ITPs, and tenders
- Liaising with clients, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers
- Managing daily programme updates and weekly cost trackers
- Raising, pricing, and submitting compensation events using CEMAR
- Attending commercial reviews and supporting dispute resolution
- Applications for measure/daywork and payroll from allocations
- Coordination with subcontractors and M&E teams
- Plant hire, cost trackers, and AFPs
- Liaising with Commercial Managers on payments and scope
David brings strong technical quantity surveying and programming expertise to ALA, and we are excited to have him on board.
