ALA is pleased to announce that Commercial Director Byron Tyson is now a chartered quantity surveyor with the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES).

Following the assessment process Byron received the following feedback from the panel:

The Panel enjoyed meeting Byron and hearing about his career and experience to date in commercial and dispute management. We are delighted to be able to lend our support to his entry into the CICES as Member. We believe he will be an asset to the Institution and his drive and enthusiasm to learn more and encourage others to follow the same route of professional recognition.

Byron says:

I have provided commercial services on major civil engineering projects for many years and I am delighted to become a chartered quantity surveyor with the CICES.

One of the ALA25 goals is to gain professional chartered recognition for all our surveyors and we look forward to working closely with the CICES to achieve this objective and supporting the institutions aims.
