Help to Grow – Lancaster University Management School

Congratulations to ALA Commercial Director Byron Tyson for completing the Help to Grow Management Course at Lancaster University Management School.

The Course consisted of 12 modules:

• Digital Adoption
• Internationalisation and New Markets
• Vision, Mission and Values
• Developing a Marketing Strategy
• Building a Brand
• Organisational Design
• Employee Engagement and Leading Change
• High Performance Workplace
• Efficient Operations
• Finance and Financial Management
• Implementing Growth Plan

This type of investment in upskilling and improvement is integral to our vision for the next five years as set out in the ALA25 Business Strategy.

 

 

Commercial Director Byron Tyson says:

I am delighted to have completed the Help to Grow programme with Lancaster University. The course was highly engaging, with a brilliant support team, The Lancaster University Management School is truly world class and a real asset for local businesses.

It was great to interact with the professors and experts on a wide range of business topics and to discuss and debate the issues with such a broad range of businesses and business people.

For me it was important to really clarify and distil our value proposition, what we offer and to really understand our clients needs and objectives to enhance and refine our services. It has made me focus on staff engagement and how to get the team to ‘buy into’ and share in our vision.  

I am now looking forward to applying the knowledge and skills learnt to benefit ALA and our clients.
