MCInstCES: Chartered Institute Membership for Kurt Hodgson

ALA is pleased to announce that Commercial Manager Kurt Hodgson is now a member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES).

Kurt says:

I am delighted to join the CICES. I have spent most of my career working on major civil engineering projects and so the CICES is a perfect fit for me.

It will be great to get involved in the Institute and I look forward to making the most of the benefits that membership offers.

Commenting on the news, Managing Director Tom Lamb said:

Well done Kurt! I am delighted to have supported and encouraged you with this achievement. It is great to see your talent and experience recognised.

You are a key member of the team at ALA and it is great to see senior staff continuing to push and develop their own careers. It sets a great example to our growing team of junior staff.

ALA is an active supporter of the CICES. Associate Directors Nigel Jackson and Daniel Harrison both gained MCInstCES recently – as we wrote about here and here . Commercial Director Byron Tyson won election to the CICES Council of Management last October. We are also encouraging others to prepare for interview in the coming months.

Our 5 year plan (ALA25) sets goals to improve each area of the business with a focus on developing talent as we grow. One of the ALA25 goals is to gain professional chartered recognition for all our quantity surveyors. We believe firmly in supporting professional development of all our staff.

At ALA we are creating sustainable and managed growth, whilst retaining the quality and values that we are known for.

ALA is currently actively recruiting. If you are interested in discussing opportunities to join ALA, please email [email protected] or look at our Current Vacancies.
