ALA is pleased to announce that Associate Director Daniel Harrison is now a member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES).

Daniel says:

The CICES is a prestigious organisation and it is fantastic to become its latest member. In recent years I have worked on some major civil engineering projects and it is great to see my skills and experience recognised in this manner.

I am excited to play an active role in the Institute and to continue my professional development. I have already been offering advice to colleagues with their applications!

Commenting on the news, Managing Director Tom Lamb said:

In recent years you have grown in experience and confidence and having worked closely with you I was certain your application was going to be successful. It was a great application and you earned your membership with hard work and dedication.

At ALA we are creating an environment of learning and development where everyone is constantly pushing themselves to improve. It is great to see you leading from the front on that. You should be proud that you are now a member of the CICES.

ALA is an active supporter of the CICES. Associate Director Nigel Jackson gained MCInstCES earlier this year. Commercial Director Byron Tyson won election to the CICES Council of Management in October. A number of other senior staff are already members, whilst at least two are preparing for interview in March.    

Our 5 year plan (ALA25) sets goals to improve each area of the business with a focus on developing talent as we grow. One of the ALA25 goals is to gain professional chartered recognition for all our quantity surveyors. We believe firmly in supporting professional development of all our staff.
